Gorgeous Twins!

Just a quick post to say - OMFG - how gorgeous do the twins look! Lol. Two pics have surfaced of Tokio Hotel's new 2010 Calendar - and the twins look stunning ( well, they all do! ). Ok, people were a bit miffed by the picture Nokia used, but this will immediately erase any concerns anyone may have had about their 'new look'. ( And if it doesn't - people must be blind! ) Anyway, I'm gonna shut up now and just post the evidence. Sorry they aren't the greatest quality pics - but enjoy! ( PS ... is Bill wearing tartan trousers in one of those pics? Please let him be wearing tartan trousers, lol. I so want to see that! )

Richie Nickel

Richie Nickel, in his own words, is an International Fashionista, socialite and style icon and I've wanted to do a post about him for a while now. He's just someone I really admire, and as a bonus, he's too cute for words!

Online, he's mostly known for his You Tube channel - What Style is to Nickel. On it, he talks about the things he loves most - make up, personal style, beauty products, accessories, hair and style in general. I can't reccomend his videos enough! You don't have to be obsessed with make up and fashion to enjoy them. I wear very little make up, but I still find the videos really interesting and useful. And I guarentee you will love Richie :) He's an absolute joy to watch!

Another really cool thing Richie does is Blog TV. Every Tuesday night at 9pm, he'll be going live on Blog Tv so that you can log in and ask him any questions you might have. ST Assignment

As you know, the new Tokio Hotel album 'Humanoid' will be released 'worldwide' in October. Unfortunately, we are still not sure if this includes the UK. In fact, it seems that it won't be released here at that time.

Tokio Hotel have now opened comments on the news section of their website. So I implore you to please head to the official UK homepage and leave a comment asking when the album will be released and asking for it to be released here. We'd like to see as many UK fans commenting on there as possible so that they see we want the album!

THUKST 'HUMANOID' COMPETITION

In honour of the release of the title for Tokio Hotel's forthcoming third studio album, the THUKST are hosting a fantastic competition! Humanoid is the title of the new album and we want to see your interpretation of it!!

Task:

Using a photograph of yourself or friends/family, imagine yourself as the designer of the new Tokio Hotel album cover! If you were going to be on the cover of Humanoid, how would you dress, where would you take the photo, what would it be about??

We want to see you get a bit arts and crafty. Get the tinfoil out, get your make-up out and have fun!

Entries can be photoshopped. So if you wanna put yourself in a spaceship, go for it!!

Remember though: we want to see YOU in it, not the band. And we want to see you having fun with it. So get dressing up!! Judging will be by the THUKST admin team and they will be looking for:

* Creativity
* Participation
* Originality
* Unusual interpretations of the word 'Humanoid'
* FUN!

Prize:

The winner of the contest will receive a back catalogue of Tokio Hotel's German CDs. That is one copy of all their German singles and albums, plus Scream. That's a total of 10 CDs going all the way back to their first single, Durch den Monsun!! (Plus, we'll throw in a couple of H&M badges and whatever else we've got lying around here. ;))

Gosh, today was a good day to be a Tokio Hotel fan. We got a little present from Tom, via his blog, in the shape of two beautiful pictures.

First we have the man himself, looking amazingly gorgeous, and all grown up!


And then we have Bill, who just looks stunningly beautiful and sooo pretty :)

Fanwalk Applicants I'm Supporting!

So, as most of you know, I was one of last year's Fanwalkers, and I would never have been able to do it without hundreds of votes from the THUKST and all my amazing friends. This year I'm going to be the one doing the voting!

Humanoid!

The title of the new Tokio Hotel album has finally been officially announced, via Tom's blog. The album is called 'Humanoid' and will be released in the first week of October. YAY! For more information, checkout the THUKST website!

I can't help but feel that this information was a little like throwing some meat to the baying hounds, as it comes almost immediately after the fandom's showdown with Cherrytree records. But nevertheless, it's very welcome news indeed.

The title itself was quite surprising to me. I don't know what I was expecting really, but it wasn't that, lol! I don't dislike it though, although it did make me giggle a bit!

So, there it is. New album in October! I have to say, I CAN'T WAIT! It's been crazy waiting to hear some real news. Let's hope we can make it to October without too many more dramas!

SONY ERICSSON FANWALK 2009

It's here! The Sony Ericsson Fanwalk is back for the 2009 MTV EMA Awards, and the competition to be one of the 100 chosen Fanwalkers is already rolling! This year, the walk will be from Hamburg to Berlin, and music fans from all over Europe will once again ask for your votes, and compete against thousands of other applicants for the chance to take part in this once in a lifetime adventure!

If you're in any doubt about whether you should try and win a place, take it from me - YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS! I was lucky enough to be one of the 100 first ever Fanwalkers ( 2008 ), and there are no words to describe how amazing it was! This is one of the best experiences you will ever have in your life. And you will return with 100 extra members in your family :)

Big Brother Fail!

Big Brother is not one of my favourite programmes at the best of times, but I admit I have been watching it this year.

I thought we might get a couple of interesting housemates last night, but omg, what a total FAIL! They were all awful! I wanted some bulldog of a woman to go in and knock Lisa of her perch, or a cute little playmate for Rodrigo, to chill him out a bit. That boy is way too tense lately!

But no. We get a couple of posh twats, a girl who is thicker than Dogface ( and that's saying something! ) , a weekend tree hugger and some freak who didn't seem to be able to walk properly. WTF!

I am now only watching BB for one reason - and that reason is SIAVASH! I love Siavash. I REALLY want him to win, though I'm not sure he will. I seriously doubt I would watch another episode if he was evicted.

New Blog. Again!

So everyone, as you can see, I've got a new blog. Again! Sorry to keep changing it.

If you're wondering why I have, I guess it's because LJ is totally depressing me right now. Well, to be fair, not LJ, but the TH fandom part of LJ. I know, I know, there's the whole 'don't read it then' issue, but I'm not really saying I don't want to read it anymore. I dunno, I think it's just that I associate LJ with all things TH and I don't seem to be able to just post random, fun stuff in my journal, the way I had hoped to be doing. All I ever seem to do is moan on it, lol.

I'll keep my account there, and I'll still use it for TH stuff and mooching around the fandom. But from now on, this will be my daily blog. No more changes, promise! So if any of you have me linked, can you adjust it and link here instead please? Thanks!
